When the London based brand PRISM launched in 2009, it was an optical glasses line focused on striking a balance between fashion and function. Later, the line expanded into resort wear which now offers swimwear, sunglasses and espadrilles. Continuing with her mission, founder Anna Laub values both style and practicality in all her designs. Their swimwear is an essential in our summer suitcase; they’re simple, well-fitting and and they look great on different body shapes.
This Italian swimwear label was cofounded by Rebecca Larsson and Alessandra Scorletti. The name ACK references Larsson’s Swedish heritage and means “the lack of something”. Finding their space in the market, the designers created a unique label that combines with feminine sporty appeal. The pieces include grommets and bows, utilise both shiny and puckered fabrics and are cut to offer coverage or show skin. They manage to offer a lot of options within a fairly small collection. Rebecca and Alessandra recently collaborated with interior designer, artist and model Ana Kras and these styles are some of our favourite yet.
Relaunched 30 years after it’s original foundation, Georgiana Huddart is reimagining the Hunza G label for the modern customer while reiterating the classic styles that made it famous. In case you don’t remember, Julia Roberts’s iconic blue and white dress in Pretty Woman was a Hunza design. Their seersucker fabric is thicker than most swimwear and makes their suits comfortable when lying on the sand.
