‘One-piece’ was the word on everyone’s lips in fashion this year; Cara Delevingne sparked the trend with her onesie mania, then jumpsuits and bodysuits followed close behind. And now that the first snow has fallen, it’s all about sartorial one-piece skiwear.

But you don’t need to rummage through your parents’ attics or thrift-shops to find one because Retro Mountain appeared late last year with the solution: a meticulously-crafted, eighties-inspired piece for the slopes. The team spent six months on the design; sourcing the fabrics, faux furs and trims to create a comfortable, practical and eye-catching ski suit that places function and form on par with one another.

Be bold, be brave, be retro is the motto of the Retro Mountain brand and goes to show that Calvin Harris was onto something when he started singing about being acceptable in the 80’s.
