This month SBC, the cult workout collective, launched the hottest workout movie ever to accompany the launch of their new online experience. Shot exclusively in Ibiza, it showcases the SBC’s animalistic training regime and girl-gang spirit, no drama spared.

Here, founder Russ Batemen gives SUITCASE his tips for keeping up that beach bod while on holiday. No slacking here.

BEACH EXERCISE: SPRINTS 

You have abdominals, it’s just a fine layer of body fat minimising their appearance. Sprinting as fast as you can will burn fat more efficiently than an hour poodle on a x-trainer. Try some core work with our SBC plank crawls. That will work your whole tummy area. Squat, deadlift, get as much sex as possible and get a good night’s sleep.

BEACH DRINK: COCONUT WATER WITH GREEN TEA 

Drink it or supplement with the extract. It’s a great fat burning stimulant and has a myriad of health benefits. Add some raw coconut water (Coco Face is my favourite) to really top up the electrolytes.

BEACH BEAUTY: COCONUT BUTTER

Use it to moisturise, eat it, clean teeth with it…

BEACH SUPPLEMENT: DIM

Take DIM or Diindolylmethane in supplement form which will help clear excess oestrogen that many women build up from using too many cosmetics and other environmental factors. These can make you just as fat as junk food.

BEACH DIET: HIGH IN FIBRE

Remember to start consuming a diet high in fibre along with large amounts of cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and kale. Before you head away on holiday think high protein foods like fish and pulses. Lots of water and green tea! Stay clear of sugar.

SBC HOLIDAY RULES FOR BEACH BODY

Sweat and move daily. Dance, long walks, sauna, yoga, pilates, SBC workouts, whatever. Do it.

Eat raw as much as possible. Raw organic vegan is the best for our DNA.

Buy a cold press juicer. It will be life changing.

On nights where you’re staying in – go to bed at 10PM.

Stay in the present moment (the now) as much as you can.

Anything can be a meditation (walking, yoga, cooking, sex, taking out the trash). Be present.

Make sure your breathing is full and deep. It’s the best detox possible.

Dancing is not a luxury it’s an imperative. Even if alone in the morning start your day with a morning dance!

Love yourself unconditionally or you can never love anyone else unconditionally.

Mix up your workouts as much as possible – for your body and your brain. SBC workshops are perfect stimuli for that.

Embrace your inner 5-year-old. Be as childlike as possible.

Judgement is so boring. Don’t judge!

Take nothing (not even the stuff directed towards you) personally.

Be in nature as much as possible.

Throw away your television and read more.

Strive to raise your vibration daily.
