Crosby Street Hotel
Situated on a quiet street in SoHo, the understated glamour of the Crosby Street Hotel is probably the reason it consistently attracts celebrities and tastemakers. We love the stylish, airy communal areas, which include an eclectic drawing room with a fireplace and a leafy, sculpture garden with wrought iron chairs and tables that’s so calm you’ll find yourself questioning whether you’re still in New York. The hotel is run by the Firmdale group (owners of the Charlotte Street Hotel and Knightsbridge Hotel in London) so you’ll notice little hints of Britain throughout.

McNally Jackson Books
McNally’s stocks a fabulous selection of books, magazines and coffee table collectibles. They also have an in-house café serving sandwiches, soups and coffee, so you can sip a latte with your new novel.
A hangout spot for hipsters, models and hipster models, this teeny-tiny restaurant packs up during the week at dinnertime. Our menu favourites include the farro and halloumi salad, lamb ragu pasta, fries with truffle aioli and brussels sprouts.

New York’s trendiest bagel shop Black Seed has gained a cult following with its upscale bagel offerings. Think beet-infused lox, ricotta and honey bagels and tobiko cream cheese.
