TO Stay
Hôtel du Temps
Overall Impression
A night at Hôtel du Temps is like staying at your very trendy Parisian friend’s apartment. The friend in this case is in fact owner Yoan Marciano who teamed up with set designer and architect Laura Leonard and designer Alix Thompson to create a beautiful hotel in this former mansion house between the trendy 9th and 10th arrondissements. The hotel – made up of 23 rooms, a bar and small dining area and a hidden club in the basement – is quirky yet elegant and mixes bespoke furniture with tropical mismatched prints and art you will likely want to take home. The fact that it feels like a friend’s home could be a downside for some – walls are thin, spaces intimate and exterior facing rooms can be noisy.
Rooms
Fresh, light and playful. The rooms have a countryside charm with white-washed wood-panelled floors and quirky prints. Go for the suite for a view of Paris and more space. Rooms start at £95.
Breakfast
Pastries, coffee and fresh fruit juice served from behind the bar for €10.
Lunch and Dinner?
There’s no restaurant – but you are a hop, skip and a jump from some of the coolest restaurants in Paris.
Is there a Bar?
There are two. The bar on the ground floor and the hidden club downstairs used mostly for private events.
