Jude’s Ice Cream: Honey & Toasted Almond
What childhood summer day didn’t end in the satisfaction of a dripping ice cream cone, scoops stacked impossibly high and melting faster than you can eat it? The torch bearer of the summer season, and now the latest way to get involved in the #CookForSyria movement, your ice cream purchase can protect the childhood of a generation at risk. A company already committed to donating 10% of its profits to charities that work with children and young people, Jude’s Ice Cream has whipped up a limited-edition flavour for the #CookForSyria campaign: a combination of British honey and toasted almond flakes churned together for a sweet and nutty Syrian-inspired twist. Starting in July, and just in time for national ice cream month, UK residents can grab their tubs and support the cause, with £1 of each sale going directly to the UNICEF’s Syria Relief Fund. Don’t live in the UK? The ice cream will be launching in Hong Kong this October, followed by its NYC premier in December. So grab a tub and stack those scoops high for the perfect treat this summer season.
Together with Ocado, tubs will be available from Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and other retailers in the UK.
