One of the ways to get involved in the #CookForSyria movement is by purchasing the not-for-profit recipe book. With over 100 donated recipes – from traditional dishes to modern plates with a Syrian twist – the cookbook sheds a much-needed spotlight on the cuisine of this once peaceful country.
Find not only recipes, but a book seeped in stories of cultural intersections, school day memories of melt-in-your-mouth ojji morsels, and friendly outings for mezze at a Syrian restaurant in Greece. Each of the stories and their associated dishes are waiting behind beautiful pages for you to make your own culinary discoveries. In the spirit of bringing people together, the recipes are designed for sharing with family and friends. Use it to shake up your supper table routine, or host a supper club (hosting tips included) for your family and friends. While you’re making memories around the table, you’ll be helping to preserve those of one of the oldest civilisations of the world.
The #CookForSyria Recipe Book is available for purchase on amazon.co.uk. All profits will be donated to aid children affected by the crisis in Syria.
