I
was in Marrakech (the second time I’ve been) for five days and
really wanted to capture the winter light, and the way in which it
reacts with its colourful environment and the people within it. The
whole city is a very sensory one, with startling smells and sounds
and particularly persistent salesmen asking you to feel, smell and
touch their spices and handmade leather produce. I shot entirely on
film, mostly 120 medium format, the rest on 35mm.
