Las Jas des Roberts
A Sunday market that puts Portobello to shame. Le Jas des Roberts is a market set in the rolling countryside, where all the rich St Tropezians sell off their vintage homeware and designer goods. Make sure to visit Angélique’s stall for authentic designer goodies, including Louis Vuitton, Chanel andJean Paul Gaultier, all for a fraction of the price. Keep an eye out for other random bits and bobs, including brass instruments and African warrior masks. We nearly bankrupted ourselves.

Galerie deï Barri
Set in the picturesque hilltop village of Gassin, with stunning views of the surrounding valley, is this small, but perfectly formed gallery. Open to visitors from March 1 to October 31, their permanent exhibition presents contemporary fine art from 15 artists. With its cobbled streets, caramel-coloured houses and panoramic views, it’s clear why this village would be an inspiration to all.
