El Mercador

To experience the beating heart of Antigua, as well as eat like a local, head to one of the city’s food markets. The market in the park by La Merced church serves up the best street food, but the food court in the market by the bus station is also good. Here you can enjoy all manner of traditional dishes and snacks before losing yourself in the maze of stalls.
