Standard

Located in St Pauli, Standard has adopted Italy’s famous aperitivo culture to treat the city to some of the finest wines. The bar’s design is something else, with a marble counter, exposed walls, rustic furniture and communal tables.

PAL

If you think Berlin is the only German city where you can find industrial-style underground techno clubs, then head to Pal. A far cry from the stag-do trap Reeperbahn, it’ll keep you dancing until the early hours.

Drip Bar

You’ll find some of the best mixologists in town at this speakeasy. From cold to coffee to non-drip, there’s nothing their cocktail experts won’t know – as long as you can find the doorbell.

Toast Bar

While this no-frills bar might only feature a small room and a tight selection of wines, long drinks and beer, it’s a safe bet that you’ll meet a crowd of cool, laid-back locals.
