Located in Dublin’s creative district, independent design store, Industry & Co, is a great place for gifts. Run by sister and brother team Vanessa and Marcus Mac Innes, the shop is filled with interesting design pieces curated from a mix of local Irish designers and sources in Europe, US and Japan. The in-store café and deli is great for a healthy lunch or elevenses, with a selection of middle eastern style food alongside freshly baked cakes and treats.

Dollard & Co

A greengrocer, deli, restaurant and wine bar, Dollard & Co is high-end foodshoping done right. Set on the ground floor of the historic Dollard Printing House, the building itself is the oldest steel frame structure in Ireland dating back to 1886, it’s likely you could waste an hour weaving through it’s shelves. An ideal place to buy food souvenirs: artisan breads, brown-bread crackers from the local cheesemonger, and fresh, hand rolled pasta

Makers & Brothers

The brainchild of brothers Jonathan and Mark Legge, the online retail brand is known for finding and creating some of the best contemporary Irish products. With a focus on craft, makers ranger from Georg Jensen and Aesop to Ilse Crawford, presenting an edit of hand-hewn stools, Irish linen and off-kilter crockery.

Indigo & Cloth

The design focused lifestyle company combines a shop, design studio and cafe in it’s trendy Dublin 2 dwelling. Founded in 2007, the Indigo & Cloth store curates a thoughtful selection of international and local products and stands alone in it’s offering of menswear. The compact cafe sits on the ground floor, serves up Climpson & Sons coffee and locally baked goods. Working off the presumptions of forgotten items and last minute gifts, Indigo & Cloth also run a concession store in the lobby of boutique hotel, The Dean, located on Harcourt Street.
