location and traditional studios right on the water is the toughest
decision you need to make, you know it’s holiday time. Located
between Messonghi and Lefkimmi, Aphrodite Corfu Villas are at the
perfect mid-point to access all the south’s best bits – although
with accommodations as cushty as these it’s hard to consider the
islet’s other highlights.

Citrus trees, olive groves and gardens abound at San Stefano
Estate. Beyond the verdant grounds, the views aren’t too shabby
either. With vistas stretching across the Corfu Channel to mainland
Greece, drink in the welcomed sea breeze of the Ionian before
turning heel and retreating to the front of the house. Here you’ll
spot the private chapel of St Stephen and old farm buildings while
inside, book-lined walls signal a weekend of restoration and
reflection.

With its salmon facade and turquoise shutters, Satori lands on the right side of preppy. All 12 rooms have been recently renovated and combine contemporary furniture with neutral tones to counter a more chipper exterior. Acharavi is the closest beach – and a very doable commute (you’ll be there in a matter of minutes). From affordability to its beachside location this one ticks all the right boxes.
