With
remote working and flexible schedules becoming almost as
common as a traditional 9-to-5 schedule, it’s no wonder co-working
spaces and members’ clubs devoted to getting work done are popping
up in cities around the world. Here are the seven best places for
taking care of business in NYC.

Dumbo House
Soho House’s Brooklyn location is airy, bright, spacious… a
winning combination for getting work done. In classic Soho House
style, there are cushy couches and armchairs scattered throughout
the main room for comfortably shooting off emails, as well as big
tables for when you feel the need to spread out a load of documents
or have a meeting. On warmer days, sit at the square outdoor bar
overlooking the downtown Manhattan skyline as you type away.
Spring Place
A members’ club with a strong work ethic, focus and productivity
are tangible here. Located in TriBeCa, Spring Place is a large
space with amenities directed towards group projects or individuals
who need a long-term place to work that’s not a typical office.

resident desks, this is a one-of-a-kind space for getting serious
work done. There are also a number of areas scattered across Spring
that feel more fun and relaxed, such as the “sunken living room”,

is steeper here, so it’s certainly an investment but worth it for

The Farm
The Farm offers “hot desks” for solo workers as well as
entrepreneurs with small teams who need full floor spaces for their
start-ups. Beyond its versatility, the space was built with the aim
of helping freelancers and independent workers feel relaxed and
connected to nature, and is made up of the pieces of a
hundred-year-old barn from Southern Missouri. The reclaimed wood
and brick spaces in both SoHo and Nomad cater to all working needs
for decent prices, and visitors can buy day passes for £22. Another
plus, pets are welcome to join their owners while they work, making
scheduling dog walkers and hurrying home a thing of the past.

SoHo’s 11 Howard Hotel houses a number of cultural hotspots,
including French eatery Le Coucou and the Blonde – a favourite for
dancing into the early hours. Beyond its late-night activities, the
hotel also has a gorgeous library area with a long table where you
can stay all day long – or until you’re ready for a drink at the
bar. The menu here is perfect for picking at – think acai bowls or
avocado toast.
Neuehouse
Located on Madison Square, Neuehouse is a sexy, artistic space
housed in the former Tepper Galleries. Styled to feel like a home
(the home of your extremely chic friend, that is), Neuehouse
maintains a perfect balance of comfort and sleekness to ensure you
can curl up in an armchair to bang out some emails without actually
falling asleep. Insider tip: head to ELEVEN, a floor dedicated to
private studio, gallery and atelier spaces for groups and
individual workers. The area also offers concierge services,
showers and a wellness centre – and that’s in addition to the
house’s other amenities, such as its Aesop apothecary and Linus
bicycles.

This women-only members’ club and workspace is one of the
fastest growing of its kind. There are already five New York City
spaces, outpacing Soho House. More than just a co-working space,
The Wing focuses on networking, mentorship programs and events, and

amenities like in-house showers, as well as pump rooms and creches
