28 November, 2019
It
It
was fun while it lasted, but we’re ready to shut the door on
2019 and celebrate a brand new decade. See in 2020 with style by
securing yourself a ticket to one of these New Year’s Eve parties.
Whether you’re looking to clink a few glasses of champagne from a
rooftop member’s club or dance through the night and following
morning, buoyed by international DJs, we’ve got your covered.
These are London’s most promising parties
hotel
White City House
White City
If you’re a Soho House member (or included in your friends’ +3
quota) make a beeline for White City House from 7pm on the 31st for
the clubhouse’s annual New Year’s Eve party. Details are, for now,
tightly underwraps, but with things winding down from 3am we’d
advise you save yourself the trauma of commuting home post bash and
crash there for the night (best to book now – the house has just 45
hotel rooms).

White City House Televison Centre
101 Wood Lane
London

bar
Phonox
Brixton
Get your fill of techno, house, disco, electronica and a little
funk and soul too at Phonox Brixton this NYE. Cram into Phonox’s
sole space from 9pm (when doors for the bar open) and wrap up the
year to the French techno sounds of Folamour.

The Standard
Kings Cross
Head to the 10th floor at Decimo, where floor-to-ceiling windows
open out to views across the London skyline, to party with Jane
Birkin (tickets are essential) or try your luck as a walk-in at
Double Standard, a night here has the scope to grow as your mood
dictates. It also leaves the window open for an impromptu escape to
Paris, with St Pancras International just a two-minute stroll
away…
bar
Bethnal Green Working Mens Club
Bethnal Green
With an upbeat playlist and a spandex-loving crowd, London’s
best-known working men’s club is one of the most joyful places in
the city to see in the new year. The quirky lounge, complete with a
heart-framed stage has played host to everything from retro rock
‘n’ roll to fancy-dress burlesque parties. This year’s celebration
is sure to be one for the books.
bar
CLF Art Cafe
Peckham
This multiple purpose warehouse has served us (and our
interests) well all year long. Where better then to ring in the new
year than at the club that promises revellers their start to a new
decade will be strictly a good time. Dance until dawn (6am closing)
at the South London Soul Train NYE bash, spread over four floors
and five rooms.

Boulevard Theatre
Soho
Throwing it back to the Soho of the 50s, festivities at the
Boulevard Theatre will be dominated by champagne, drag and
burlesque. Begin your night in style, sipping on retro cocktails as
contortionists and cabaret performers dazzle and delight before
things round off with a live jazz band (until 2am).
