Waiting
Waiting
for
your parents to go away before inviting all your friends over for a
party that gets out of hand, before frantically clearing up the
next day (and always missing a rogue beer can) is a teenage rite of passage. While we can’t
guarantee you won’t be stepping over worse-for-wear guests in the
morning at these mega cribs, the state-of-the-art sound systems are
buffered by expansive grounds
so at least noise complaints won’t be an issue. Rally the troops,
because these houses cry out for a party to end all
parties.
hotel
Villa Tagomago
Ibiza, Spain
Built to host memorable (or not…) house parties, Villa
Tagomago sits on its very own private island just off mainland
Ibiza.
Sneak down to the cliff-side hot tub for sunset frolics or hit the
pool where surround-sound speakers, Balinese beach beds and stylish
LED lighting create a hedonistic playground. You could get your
helicopter to drop you straight into the notorious
clubbing scene, but do you really want to leave?

Marchesa Grand Canal
Venice, Italy
hotel
Annandale Scrubby Bay
Pigeon Bay, New Zealand
Don’t be fooled by its rustic appearance and isolated location;
this cedar-clad bungalow contains all the mod cons you need to
throw an epic party, completed by a fully stocked bar. Just an
hour’s drive from Christchurch,
Annandale Scrubby Bay is comprised of five spacious villas, as
fire-pit deck and ocean-view spa. The only neighbours are cattle so
the terrace sound system can be cranked all the way up.
hotel
Masseria Petrarolo
Puglia, Italy
Living
la dolce vita is easy at this 17th-century restored farmhouse,
thanks to a personal chef, vintage wine room, 26-foot banqueting
table and endless limoncello thanks to sprawling lemon groves. Each
of the eight bedrooms is unique, with outdoor showers, roll-top
baths and a hamam. Put your most unruly guests in the concealed
airstream in the property’s 75-acre “garden”.

hotel
Saddle Peak
Topanga, US
Earthy elements have been slickly fused with concrete and steel
to create a striking modern home which blends into the Santa
Monica mountains. Sliding glass doors blur the boundaries
between inside and out, offering up a unique entertaining hub with
an unrivalled backdrop. Its beauty does, however, come with a price
– a set of pretty strict house rules. May be serve white wine over
red to avoid any spillage disasters.

Villa Syros
Cyclades, Greece
hotel
Pego House
Comporta, Portgual
With an enviable location – arguably on the best beach in
Portugal – Pego House rises majestically from the sand dunes.
An interior patio in the centre of the property provides a natural
mingling point for your guests to get to know each other before you
take them up to the roof for the pièce de résistance; a heated onyx
pool with views of the
Alentejo Coast.
hotel
Villa Palmeraie
Marrakech, Morrocco
Forget naff Beverly Hills mansions; this sprawling
Moroccan riad is the real deal. Up to 36 of your friends can
sleep in sumptuous lodgings – and you could definitely squeeze in a
few more if they’re willing to bed down on the basketball and
tennis courts in the basement. Traditional berber tents are
scattered throughout the lush gardens offering dark corners for
doing dark deeds, while a bevvy of maids, butlers and chefs means
you’re free to join in the fun.
hotel
The Find
Cheltenham, UK
Dispelling its reputation for being a quaint English village,
this Cotswolds abode packs a punch with striking floor-to-ceiling
glass and minimalist interiors. Head out to the terrace for an
alfresco soirée, with plenty of mulled wine for a night of
stargazing. If things get a bit rowdy, no matter; the house is
set in five sweeping valleys – a challenge for even our most
foghorn friends.
