The Bookshop
A modern British restaurant serving coffee, brunch, a Herefordshire steak-led evening menu and a popular Sunday lunch. Once a secondhand bookshop, the space has an industrial look. It is part of A Rule of Tum – a collection of pop-ups and ever-evolving eateries by brothers Edward and Dorian Kirk and their best friend, Jon Stead. The three also run the adjoining Burger Shop and The Yard, a street-food spot in a former car park.
restaurant
The Bull’s Head
A traditional Black Mountains pub with a contemporary vibe. A hole-in-the-wall bar serves well-kept ales and low-intervention wines. Wild by Nature, which runs the restaurant, uses regenerative farming methods to produce the ingredients for its farmhouse dishes.

The Ledberry
Make a beeline for the secret garden tucked behind this historic listed townhouse for a light lunch or slice of cake.

Verzon House
Verzon House restaurant with rooms, just outside Ledbury, is run by the same Herefordshire farming family that founded Chase Distillery. Head chef Charlie Weedon captures the region’s flavours, with produce sourced from local suppliers including Westons Cider, Peter Cooks Bread and Knightwick Butchers. The Chase family’s own ingredients feature heavily: Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar, created by William Chase, is on proud display in the cocktail workshop, alongside the label’s signature vodka and gin.
