Horizn
Horizn
Studios’ luggage range embodies the belief that each
journey should leave the world a better place. The brand’s tale
began in 2015, when, with a shared vision to redefine travel for
the modern world, founders Stefan Holwe and Jan Roosen joined
forces. Two like-minded individuals with a passion for design and
endless wanderlust, the duo’s dreams took off. Today, Horizn Studios
seamlessly blends style, sustainability and cutting-edge
technology.
Demonstrating Germany’s engineering prowess, the Berlin-based
brand dropped the world’s first luggage with a removable smart
charger. Artist collaborations with the likes of DJ Seth Troxler
and Nigerian-born, Berlin-based artist Emeka Ogboh followed. In
2019, the company’s unique personalised luggage configuration
landed. Soho House has its own edition, and the full Horizn Studios
range is stocked at Harrods and Selfridges.

Now, the brand is on a quest to implement circular economy
principles while ensuring the longevity of the range. Horizn
Studios already carefully sources recycled materials to produce its
luggage, but the latest iterations take sustainability up a gear.
Case in point? The RE Series, launching in September. Made from 97
per cent recycled polycarbonate, it gives post-consumer waste a new
life in the form of stylish, long-lasting cabin and check-in
luggage. And, of course, the suitcases come with the same lifetime
warranty offered on the entire Horizn Studios line. There are
further exciting innovations on the horizon, too. Next year, the
incredible Circle One is landing – a fully plant-based hard shell
case that’s a material science revolution in its own right.
Ready to unleash your thirst for adventure and find your perfect
companion as you sustainably explore the world? Here’s our wish
list from the brand’s incredible offering.

The RE Series

Remember how you once loved CDs? Those retro relics have found a
new rhythm. Meet the RE Series, the cabin and check-in luggage duo
made from 97 per cent recycled polycarbonate – that’s post-consumer
waste made up of components including, you guessed it, CDs. This
dazzling duo also features fully recycled interiors, a lifetime
warranty, and will have you spinning right round on smooth-turning
360-degree wheels. And – as with all Horizn Studios suitcases –
they’re equipped with a TSA-approved lock. The series launches in
September.

Gion Backpack

The Gion Backpack Pro

The sleek, daily backpack that will take you from the office to
Olbia and back. Crafted from water-resistant tarpaulin, it’s got

a hidden back pocket to hide your travel essentials in. It’s also
super-comfortable, with its padded back and shoulder straps taking
the strain. Available in five nature-inspired colours, the Gion is
