This
series pays homage to Coral Casino Beach, a social club
with an Olympic-sized pool on Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara.
Since opening in 1937, the exclusive members’ club has played host
to countless events attended by the Hollywood elite – I wanted to
capture that sophistication in a refreshing and fun way. Evoking
1960s resort lifestyle, I envisaged a fine-art series celebrating
the Californian sunshine and hotel’s art-deco design while
transporting viewers to the poolside glamour of the past.

I enlisted the help of synchronised dance team, the Aqualillies,
and we spent two days shooting in glorious weather with plenty of
costume changes. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to
capture this iconic landmark and hope people enjoy the series as
much as I did shooting it.
