The Hari, Belgravia, London

The Hari, Belgravia, London

The Hari‘s personal ad would
read: debonair type seeks discerning companion with a penchant for
modern glamour and a liking for
Italian
cuisine. Desired but not essential: knows their way
round a cigar humidor.

Bedrooms

Rooms at The Hari have a distinctly masculine vibe: think
cowhide rug, pinstripe throws and a dark muted colour palette. It’s
all very cowboys and businessmen. Bed lamps hang from the ceiling
and deskside a plug caddy is built in. Gold-framed photographs
decorate bedroom walls – Julianne Moore survey’s the room through
Titian-hued hair, saucily dressed in heels, underwear and bushels
of jewellery. All-marble bathrooms are softened with Ikebana
arrangements and after your bubble bath you’ll find rosewater- and
lemon-flavoured Turkish delights on your pillow.

What’s for breakfast?

A continental buffet tots in at £20 or for those who know what,
when and how they want something – from Nutella and banana crepes
to spelt and oat, dairy-free porridge – it’s best to order a la
carte.

How about lunch and dinner?

Il Pampero’s menu is dominated by pasta – and with good reason.
Bypass fish options in favour of the cacio e pepe. Watch on as your
dish is tossed in a gigantic wheel of pecorino tableside before
being plated up in the most theatrical of manners. Designed with
punchy floor tiles and copper finishes, grab a banquette by the
window for an intimate meal. End with a
vegan-friendly
“bomb al limone” or chestnut profiteroles with
warm chocolate sauce.

Is there a bar?

The Hari Bar, located on the first floor opens until 1am. Order
The Hari – a tipple made with Jensen Gin, masala chai, honey and
gold – before heading out to the Garden Terrace in search of the
cigar bar. After surveying the cigar humidor, pair your
Cuban
with another round of Haris.

Amenities

Head to the gym on the first floor or ask a member of the

swish neighbouring health club dedicated to women.
