The Kitchen
A smart neighbourhood bistro set on a corner site with a heated
outdoor terrace and mostly German wine list. Owner Fatih Ayoglu
recommends ordering several starters as sharing plates, although
the crispy octopus main with silky parsnip purée is not to be
missed, and the burgers are said to be some of the best in the
city.

Velvet
Industrial-chic café Velvet is a treasure from morning coffee
to after-work aperitivo. It shares the site with Beyond Studios, a
boutique filled with chic Northern European labels pleasingly
organised by colour, so you can have a browse before tucking into a
vibrant menu of mostly plant-based dishes.
