Situated just a stone’s throw from the beach in sought-after
Talamanca, the hotel is a short drive from Dalta Vila (Ibiza‘s
old town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and ideally located for
making the best of the island’s lively restaurants and bars before
taking the highway to hedonism and getting stuck into the club
scene. With the cobalt Med on your doorstep for when you tire of
splashing around in one of three pools, breakfast which goes on
until a leisurely 12PM and a resident DJ spinning out the
soundtrack, OD Talamanca is hard to beat when it comes to a
Balearic break.

Rooms

The 117 rooms are divided across two buildings, all offering
balconies with views of the bay and marina below. A calm colour
palette is exactly what’s needed when you’ve no doubt been blinded
by the club lights; neutral tones and wooden furnishings are pepped
up with blue tones to create a minimalist beach-chic feel, with
modern finishes such as hanging lights, glass partition doors and
sleek bathrooms.

What’s for breakfast?

The sight of a breakfast bar groaning under the weight of fresh
produce is what morning-after-the-night-before dreams are made of.
A made-to-order range of hot plates provide perfect hangover
ammunition, while the more health-conscious can load up on
superfood as well as fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and
smoothies.

How about lunch and dinner?

For lunch, you can’t beat the zingy offerings from, Coricancha,
the poolside ceviche bar specialising in Nikkei cuisine. Come
dinner, head to the spacious ground-floor restaurant (complete with
a terrace) for an international à la carte menu spanning everything
from traditional Spanish fare to curry, pasta, burgers, salads and
wok dishes. The kitchen never closes – ideal for those who’ve
thrown their usual routine out of the window for the week(end).

Is there a bar?

It’s Ibiza, there’s always a bar. Spend days sipping sangria
from the poolside cabana with chilled out lounge music providing
the soundtrack. Come evening, the DJ ramps things up a bit – join
in with a sundowner cocktail from the well-stocked lobby bar.

Things you should know

We’re not entirely sure how they manage it, but OD emanates that
