It’s
that time of year again. The season of cosy turtlenecks and
even cosier winter
pub sessions, yes – but also the season of darker evenings and
days spent dreaming of sunnier climes (read: scrolling through
browser tabs of last-minute winter-sun
escapes). Yep, we see you. And we’re here to help.

Because we guessed you might be craving some sun, sand, sea and
spectacular sunsets right about now, we’ve teamed up with Milaidhoo Island
to whisk one lucky reader and a friend off to the Maldives for a
luxurious five-night B&B stay. Christmas has come early.

Secreted away on a thriving Unesco Biosphere Reserve, Milaidhoo
is a small pocket of paradise that lies on the lesser-trodden side
of Baa Atoll. It’s the sort of resort where you’ll find a
multi-room spa, not multi-storey water slides: the hotel is
restricted to children over the age of nine, so the only playground
here is the adults-only bar.

You’ll be holed up in one of the island’s 50 spacious,
