The best outdoors escapes have three components: awe-inspiring
landscapes, luxe lodgings and hearty food plucked straight from the
earth. We’ve done our research and found the perfect place for the
job.

Introducing Storfjord Hotel. This wooden lodge is a pocket of
high-end hygge in Norway’s Sunnmøre region – an epic mountainscape
of vertiginous cliff-faces, carpeted in snow come winter and
tuffets of long grass in summer. We’re giving one lucky reader and

While it’ll be tempting to swaddle yourself in woollen blankets
and observe Sunnmøre’s rugged wilderness from the comfortingly
thick-set windows of your bedroom, we’ve arranged a guided trek so
you can experience this inimitable landscape first-hand.

You’ll hike through pine-scented forests, up mountain ridges and
down into glittering crystalline fjords before cosying up with your
travel companion over a Scandi-style lunch of locally sourced
seafood and game, seared over a rip-roaring bonfire. As night falls
over the fjord, we’re giving you one final treat: a sumptuous
