Ibiza by Heidi Gosman, of Heidi Klein

Like many in London, Heidi Klein and her partner Penny Klein had found it impossible to buy swimwear out of season. The struggle was real, so in 2002 Heidi and Penny launched their one-stop holiday shop in Notting Hill, the first of its kind in the city. Their aim was simple: to sell classic, flattering and glamorous beachwear year-round. Soon the shop grew to house their own collection and to date they enjoy constant demand for their quintessential designs. The focus of the company is also about creating a positive experience around resort wear (we all know how unpleasant buying a bikini can be). Stepping into their shop is like instantly being transported to one of the myriad sunny holiday destinations their collections are named after. We spoke to Heidi Gosman to find out a little bit more about her favourite spot: Ibiza.

1. A Secret Beach?

Sa Caleta - a very secluded horse-shoe beach surrounded by red cliffs where my three children love to snorkel. No beach club attached here.

2. Old Favourite?

Es Torrent restaurant; quiet and rustic that serves black paella to die for.

3. Something a little bit more glam?

For a special evening out, we love to rent a boat and enjoy a sunset cruise before dinner at Formentera's Beso Beach. Rent your boat from one of the restaurant owners at barcoibiza.com

4. Treasure trove?

I love the El Chiringuito beach hut.

5. A place you would drive across the island for and why?

San Jordi flea market on Saturday mornings. I found some great fabric here that I used as inspiration for one of our collections.

6. Sunset spot on the Island?

Cotton Beach Club is great for sundown cocktails.
