I fell in love with the landscapes of America like everyone who's seen them at least once. I was 16-years-old when it happened. Six years later, a lot had changed - not least the fact that photography had become a part of my life. I was a photography student and I wanted to come back and capture all the memories I had kept in my mind all those years. I recall mostly being influenced by Stephen Shore's work. He made me love colour photography and want to stop shooting black and white for a while. The trip became some kind of milestone in my young life.
