Often on the road working with international brands on content creation, photography, styling and digital strategy, Mat is no stranger to arriving in new destinations and quickly seeking out the hottest spots.
His favourite places include Lisbon, Oslo and New York, but given his stylish credentials we thought it only right to get his lowdown on the Scandinavian capital of cool, Copenhagen.
Here, Mat shows us around town, with mandatory pit stops to pick up as much Scandi style as we can cram into our sleek Horizn Studios suitcase.
I have a strong fondness for their approach to design, style of hospitality and willingness to engage on a pretty normal level.
Oversized coats, loose-fitting trousers and comfortable, almost gym-worthy, sneakers seem like the thing across all ages. It's practical but considered - there's a lot more denim than I would have thought, too. No one appears to be trying too hard; it's effortlessly stylish.

It's a close call between the battery charger and the front pocket for my laptop, but the charger is invaluable for my job. I'm on my phone a lot while travelling for work, mapping out my trips and keeping up to date with social media, so the few hours extra boost is a real lifesaver.
The very sweet Apollo Bar just inside the Charlottenborg Slot palace. This one was recommended to me by a local and is a unique little place painted lemon yellow, red and blue with incredibly high, ornate ceilings, playing jazz in the evening. It just works so well.
How about a beer at To Øl's Brus bar followed by pizza at Bæst? It's a winner any day of the week; really lovely interiors, relaxed vibes and a wide selection of food and drinks.
I've heard that TorvehallerneKBH Market is the place to be at the weekend, packed with stalls selling all sorts of food and drinks. I also want to try the cocktail bar Lidkoeb - apparently they have a great courtyard which is very popular in summer.
Go for an early-morning jog down by the river followed by hearty porridge portions at Grød. Afternoons should be spent kicking back with waterfront beers.

The oldest bakery in the city, St Peders Bageri, which apparently shifts 4,000 cinnamon rolls each Wednesday.
Keeping things very traditional, the open sandwiches at Aamanns Deli are unreal. Order for the table and share everything so you can sample a range of toppings.
Definitely ceramics - pack them carefully though!
