New Horizons

To get lost, to seek and go beyond; to reach new horizons or return to familiar landscapes as though seeing them for the first time. These are the reasons why I travel.

This year, I went on a road trip through British Columbia, Nevada, Montana and then Argentina. I had no idea what to expect from the countries that would become my home for the next few months but each restored and rejuvenated my city weary body in its own way.

From the peaceful majesty of the geysers in Yellowstone National Park to the to the silent beauty of British Columbia's lakes, I felt like I was in a film, and I captured these cinematic landscapes so that I didn't have to leave them behind. Life on the road means freedom; finding hot springs and taking a spontaneous swim, watching the ever-changing horizons and choosing when to stop. It's an addictive lifestyle that drives a need for consumption - not for material possessions but for experiences.

These photos are a collection of my memories from hours spent on the road journeying through variously inspiring lands.
