We're obsessed with all things Scandi, whether it's pared-back interiors, New Nordic cuisine or the nonchalant garbs that have made their way from Copenhagen Fashion Week to the streets of London, New York and (although the French would never admit it) Paris. While Ganni and Acne Studios steal the high-street spotlight when it comes to Scandi threads, a cohort of lesser-known designers from northern Europe is garnering our attention with their combination of earthy neutrals, clashing colours and bold prints on everything from blouses to button-down midi dresses.
An all-women design team heads up this Copenhagen-based brand. Subverting a neutral colour palette, Lovechild 1979 produces patterned silk shirts, floaty print midi-dresses and well-tailored silhouettes with beautifully crafted details
Confirming that going green can still be enviably stylish, Stine Goya has used 100 per cent sustainable materials in its latest collection. Bonbon-hued silk dresses and polka-dot peplum tops should be worn with white sneakers and a beanie to nail the just-stepped-off-my-bike-in-Copenhagen look.
Often dubbed "the new Ganni" after its inaugural spring/ summer 2019 collection caught the attention of fashion editors around the world, this London-based brand was dreamed up by Danish designer Julie Brøhgger. Few can pass up a two-tone suit when the tailoring (and price point) is this good.
Breaking all the rules when it comes to what you thought you knew about Scandi style, Astrid Andersen is more Brooklyn than Bergen. Nylon tracksuits and oversized co-ords inspired by collegiate sports feature heavily in the collection - A$AP Rocky is a fan.

An Acne Studios alumni, Elaine Herbsy has created a brand that plays with the feminine form. Athletic fabrics and loose silhouettes are juxtaposed with girly details including ruffles and flashes of fuschia. We're bookmarking the Iris Hoodiedress as her next sellout item.
Championing the minimalist aesthetic we've come to expect from Scandi brands, unisex Our Legacy does the button-down long-sleeve polo shirt in a 50-shades-of-white basics collection exceptionally well. Order one in every hue to see you through the spring/ summer seasons.
Channelling a 90s aesthetic with its tangerine Clueless-esque cheques, hyper-affordable Résumé Copenhagen is so not what you might expect from the Scandi scene. The rule-breaking brand is a definite nod to the New Nordic style slowly making its way into our wardrobe's orbit. Regardless, we're adding this mint-green and Sorrento-lemon two-piece suit straight into our basket.
And if there's one thing that the Scandi set does better than anyone else, it's made-to-last basics. Copenhagen's Sur Le Chemin reigns supreme when it comes to meticulously made shirts and tees.
