The Best of Salone Del Mobile, Milan

The Salone del Mobile trade fair took place in Milan last week, showcasing the best of what is new and up-and-coming in the design world. With thousands of pop-up installations across the city, furniture and fashion brands came together to showcase their latest products in some of the city's most architecturally inspiring locations. Collaboration highlights this year included Bulgari and architect Zaha Hadid's Serpenti Installation, and Movement by Philippe Malouin for Caserstone, which invited visitors to play on a set of eight swings in the Palazzo Serbelloni.

Some of SUITCASE Magazine's favourites included Max Lamb's Exercise in Seating, a showcase of 42 of Lamb's creations, exploring the evolution of his portfolio over the last ten years and COS + Snarkitecture's ethereal instalment of over 30,000 strips of fabric, a reflection of the brands Scandi-minimalist aesthetic and love of clean lines.
