In the 1990s, Razzberry Rhinoceros (fondly known as “Razzys”) was India’s only rock and metal bar. After closing for several years, the iconic venue has metamorphosed into a cultish space with five distinct zones: bistro, patio, bar, deck and a members-only section. All have different menus and vibes, but the deck is a standout, with sprawling sea views, swaying palms and cocktails on tap. It’s more al-fresco dining than grimy rock bar, but it hasn’t lost touch with its history. The venue’s legacy attracts local and international acts from all genres – expect anything from rock to sufi or EDM.

AntiSOCIAL is a jack-of-all-trades. The underground industrial hangout is found in the basement of Khar Social – a collaborative workspace for artists, designers and innovators, where you can snack on anything from blueberry pancakes to steak and eggs. In the evening, it’s a culture-vulture’s paradise, hosting comedy jams, poetry readings and movie screenings. Alternatively, turn up in the early hours and it’s a thumping, sweaty nightclub with surplus cocktails and sets from the likes of Boiler room, HVOB and Actress that greets you. They also serve up a “hangover breakfast” every morning, meaning you really could stay here 24/7.
