Volume 17 of
SUITCASE Magazine, we were inspired by various myths and
legends from cultures around the world. Our exploration took us to
Ireland on the path of the country’s most celebrated poet, WB
Yeats.

Styled by Tona Stell and photographed by Rokas Darulis, the
images were shot across the rugged terrain of South Mayo. They
display the mystic energy and history of The Emerald Isle, while
bringing to life the very words of Yeats poems. We travelled “To
the waters and the wild / With a faery, hand in hand” in the hope
of capturing glimpses of a fantastical and legendary world.
