Tofo, a small town in Mozambique set right on the Indian Ocean.
When you think of travelling to Africa, pearl-white sands and pristine turquoise waters might not immediately spring to mind. But Tofo Beach is an untouched paradise. You won't find any large resorts here, but you will find world-class surfing spots, breathtaking views and heart-warming people. The area is not geared up for tourists, so the beach itself is incredibly peaceful - get there before everyone else does.

Get your own cabana and enjoy a massage right on the water's edge, go scuba diving with whale sharks, or drive a quad bike through the sand dunes behind the shore. And when you get hungry, walk to one of the few restaurants sprinkled along the coast, where you'll find caught-this-morning seafood and fresh smoothies.
Check out a beautiful all-white boutique hotel called Tofo Mar and the surrounding downtown area, which offers plenty in the way of art and culture. The rhythm of Mozambique is sure to stay with you long after you've left.
