bar
Fallen Angel
Cusco, Peru
If you fancy a drink in eclectic surrounds, Fallen Angel is the one. Leopard skin is a central design theme, board games hang from the ceiling and, in-keeping with the angelic name, cherubs adorn the interior. The food here is good and the cocktails even better. If the weather is good, sit outside and enjoy your drinks in the pretty garden. Gay-friendly, book ahead.
bar
Mushrooms
Cusco, Peru
Mushrooms is the place to go if you like a drink with a view. Overlooking the Plaza de Armas, this second-floor bar has arguably the best vistas over the square, with a laid-back day time vibe and the perfect place for people watching if you sit by the window. When night falls it ramps it up a notch: happy hour is from 6-8PM with two-for-one cocktails, and the bar becomes a club after 11PM.
