Where to Eat in Las Vegas

restaurant

Della's

Las Vegas, United States

No one leaves Vegas feeling healthy, not least thanks to the city’s excessive portion sizes and apparent obsession with truffle oil. If you’re craving a dose of greens and fresh juice, try Della’s Kitchen at the Delano for a responsibly sourced menu served in a casual, urban setting. We loved the Tuscan kale salad with organic quinoa, Chenel goat’s cheese, sundried cranberries, walnuts and flaked salmon. Grab one of their fresh pressed juices for a pick- me-up on the go.

restaurant

Nobu

Las Vegas, United States

Chef Nobu’s largest culinary endeavour in the world is located in the exclusive Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace. Despite the venue’s colossal size, a series of lantern-like pods enclose small round tables and give the restaurant an intimate feel. Come here for a business dinner or a romantic evening meal and feast on the truffle tasting menu or Nobu’s signature black cod with sweet miso. Prices are unsurprisingly high; this is Nobu and this is Vegas.

Eat

Las Vegas, United States

The Strip may be home to celebrity chefs, but the Downtown area is a good option if you’re looking for a more relaxed vibe. This new kid on the block has quickly become a firm local favourite for its reasonably priced breakfast and lunch menu. Service here is unobtrusive and hassle free, much like the simple but delicious food. Try the devilled egg special or the roast beef sandwich, then cross the road and check out the eclectic selection of shops at Container Park, Vegas’ answer to Box Park in London’s Shoreditch.

restaurant

Hakkasan

Las Vegas, United States

The Las Vegas branch of Hakkasan, the world-renowned Cantonese restaurant, is housed in the MGM Grand and is one seriously sexy spot. This is supposedly where Leo DiCaprio dines when in Vegas, and it’s not hard to imagine him schmoozing under the dimmed blue lighting, black lattice walls and carved marble sculptures. Try the delicious jasmine tea-smoked short rib and roasted Chilean sea bass with Chinese honey, before heading to the nightclub upstairs. Open Thursday to Sunday, the five floors of interconnecting dance floors and lounges is intense, with Calvin Harris and Tiësto just two of the resident DJs. Take refuge in the Ling Ling Lounge for a more intimate experience set to a hip-hop soundtrack.
