The speakeasy trend has arrived in Buenos Aires and this is one of the best spots in Recoleta. From the outside it looks like a flower and wine shop; once inside, enter the bar through a refrigerator door. There are cocktails for every whim, so let the bartenders improvise something bespoke based on your chosen tipple.

Another speakeasy, you have to know a password to get in (clues are given every day on their Facebook page). Once inside, enter this 1920-style sweetheart through a phone booth. Frank’s has killer cocktails and is a great place to spend a weeknight – have the password ready because the doormen are very strict.
