It’s a little more expensive than its neighbours, but watching the sunset with a properly made mojito from a deckchair by the pool more than makes up for it.

A beautiful evening spot overlooking Marina Corricella, Malazzè is built within the arches of an old boat warehouse on the quay. Linger over a hearty snack menu of seasonal freselle (southern Italy’s version of bruschetta, made with crunchy bagel-shaped bread), eight different types of spritzes and all the classic cocktails. The freshly squeezed Procida lemon juice, naturally sweet from the island’s sun-kissed fruit, is a must on a hot afternoon. The bar gets points for having its own reusable bottles, as part of Procida’s zero-plastic initiative.
